Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov, Chairman of the Food Safety Agency Goshgar Tahmazli and General Director of “Caspian Event Organisers” Farid Mammadov reviewed the “Caspian Agro 2026” and “InterFood Azerbaijan” exhibitions.
During the review, stands of local and foreign companies operating in the fields of agriculture, food industry, agrarian technologies, irrigation systems, agricultural machinery and processing industry were visited in the exhibition pavilions. Detailed information was provided on the innovative products, modern technologies and new services presented.
Visitors also visited the stand of the Ministry of Agriculture, prepared on the basis of a broad and multifaceted concept. A special place was allocated here for projects implemented in the direction of innovation and digital transformation in the agricultural sector. The stand combined state support in the agricultural sector, innovation, science, startup ecosystem and private sector cooperation on a single platform, creating extensive information and cooperation opportunities for visitors.
At the exhibition, agrarian startups and students from various universities presented innovative solutions, technological products and prototypes within the framework of the projects “Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture”, “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Precision Agriculture”. The innovative solutions demonstrated included smart agricultural technologies, digital monitoring systems, automated management solutions and technological approaches aimed at increasing productivity.
The exhibition also featured handicrafts made of flour products and chocolate. It was noted that 18 miniature handicrafts prepared by culinary experts from Azerbaijan and Belarus were dedicated to the theme of agriculture. These handicrafts were prepared in two weeks at the earliest and in three months at the latest.
“Caspian Agro” and “InterFood Azerbaijan” are considered one of the most prestigious events in the agrarian and food industry of the region. The “Caspian Agro” and “InterFood Azerbaijan” exhibitions bring together hundreds of companies, investors and specialists from different countries of the world every year, playing the role of a new cooperation platform in the agrarian and food industry.
During the review, the issues of introducing innovations in the agricultural sector, ensuring food security, increasing productivity and expanding international cooperation were in the spotlight. It was emphasized that the exhibitions make a significant contribution to the development of the agricultural and food industry, as well as to expanding access to international markets for local producers. During the meetings, views were exchanged on the development of the agricultural sector, the application of modern technologies and opportunities for international cooperation.
