Panel discussions of the II International Agrarian Innovation Forum within the framework of public-private partnership have concluded
The “II International Agrarian Innovation Forum within the framework of public-private partnership”, held on May 8 at the Baku Expo Center as part of the “Caspian Agro Week” exhibition, continued with panel discussions on various areas of the agrarian sector.
 
Deputy Minister of Agriculture Zaur Aliyev, representatives of the Association of Poultry Meat, Egg Producers and Exporters, Fisheries and Aquaculture Center, Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency and “Azerbaijan Fish Farm” LLC spoke at the panel titled “Development of Livestock, Fisheries and Poultry: Experience, Innovation and Future Opportunities”. During the discussions, views were exchanged on the development prospects of livestock and aquaculture sectors, innovative production approaches and international experiences. The session focused on protecting animal health, improving veterinary services, feed supply and innovative solutions.
 
The panels dedicated to the topics “Sustainable Agriculture: Trends, Modern Technologies and Prospects”, “Agricultural Processing Industry: A Production Chain Creating Added Value” discussed agricultural machinery and equipment in the agricultural sector, modern irrigation technologies, innovative approaches and the role of vocational education, food security, increasing the competitiveness of local production and prospects for the development of the processing industry, strengthening the production chain and the application of quality standards. During the forum, extensive discussions were held on cooperation opportunities between state agencies, higher education institutions and representatives of the private sector operating in the agricultural sector, promoting innovations in the agricultural sector and sharing best practices.
 
Finally, the questions of interest to the participants were answered, and the proposals voiced were registered. Thus, the panel discussions organized within the framework of the II International Agricultural Innovation Forum within the framework of public-private partnership concluded.
